duckhunt6969 Posted September 29, 2010 #10 Share Posted September 29, 2010 We just got off on Monday. The bathrooms have a new look to them blue, blue and blue. This was our 9th cruise with CCL and had a great time like the last eight. We did not check for groups on this cruise and the friends of Dorthy were on the ship. This was the first time for anytime dinning and it was great. Had the same waiter Adrian in Section 105 and great service everynight. Had my shrimp waiting for me after the first night. If you have any questions let me know.

gargoyle999 Posted September 29, 2010 #12 Share Posted September 29, 2010 This was the first time for anytime dinning and it was great. Which dining room do they use for Your Time? We have done that our last two cruises and will have it on the Imagination in Nov. How was debarkation?
sunshineonmymind Posted September 30, 2010 #13 Share Posted September 30, 2010 Do they have the cascading shelves mounted to the mirror like some of the newer ships now do?
OSUKNIGHT Posted October 8, 2010 Author #14 Share Posted October 8, 2010 I know some people just got back, so I'll give you a few days to recover. Let us know what you found on the Imagination. :)
viaggi_per_mare Posted October 8, 2010 #15 Share Posted October 8, 2010 We just booked a short cruise for Jan 24, 2011 on this ship. We cruise a lot and love big ships but the price was right. The smallest we have been on was the Legend, so we aren't sure how we will feel about sailing on a little one. (We just got off the Splendor last week) We got an Oceanview which we have never had before, but the suites were not a good value just to have a balcony for 4 days. We had an inside cabin the first two cruises and had a balcony for the third - you know they say you never go back...) I'll be reading the thread for tips, advice etc.
wardwhitty Posted October 8, 2010 #16 Share Posted October 8, 2010 Just got off the Imagination on Monday. Here are a few of the things we noticed were updated after the dry-dock. The bathrooms have been updated, shower flower and bathroom floor. There are 2 shelves in the bathroom not the cascading shelves. New linens and shower curtains. New felt on all casino tables. Thorough cleaning. My husband and I cruised the Imagination in 1998 and had a blast. We have since been on 18 cruises with mostly Carnival but have done a few NCL's and Princess. The Imagination was so clean and well maintained I could not believe she was 12+ years old. If you are scheduled to sail, I think you will have a great time. gapearl Posted October 16, 2010 #23 Share Posted October 16, 2010 I was on the Imagination 2 weeks ago. My sailing was the third one after the dry dock. I only have 1 small complaint, which I put in the online comment card I filled out. My room was E-197. There was a very slight sewage smell that lingered in the bathroom the entire cruise. It was present when we first walked on and was there even after cleaning. It was not a "typical" bathroom smell. It was not unbearable or even extremely unpleasant, but just a really odd smell. I did hear someone mention he noticed rust somewhere (I can't remember where though) and he expected a little more from a ship fresh out of dry dock. Other than that, everything to me seemed to be fine, clean, and in good shape. For those of you cruising soon, please be sure to check out my review in my signature. It's very detailed, lengthy, and full of pictures!
