LMT Miami Intercontinental CC Issues?

I'm wondering if anyone else has had issues booking the Intercontinental Miami through last minute travel.

 

I tried to book a room at their great $84 rate but my credit card information wouldn't go through. I then received an automated call from my credit card company inquiring about the charge.

 

It seems like many have taken advantage of this deal, so I'm wondering if my experience is unique.

It was a problem with my credit card company, not last minute travel. Sorry for the inconvenience.

They use an international company to funnel there reservations through I believe Israel ? So that may have been the reason for the call. I just got saw a foreign transaction fee of 2.90 on my statement for a reservation I booked with them a couple weeks ago. I called the cc company to verify, but overall its a great rate an I anticipate no problems.
