Guarantee Room Assignment

We are leaving in 4 days and all the methods still say GUAR for our cabin assignment. What is the latest you have seen your cabin get assigned?

I thought they were putting your room numbers on the docs because the coast guard has to know 8 weeks ahead of time.

I guess not. We booked this cruise months ago. Even our docs say GUAR.

Last July I got my cabin at the ship as I checked in. The manifest that is due 72 hours before sailing only has to list passenger names, home address, etc. NOT their cabin #

Hi! On our last year's trip out of Galveston on the Elation,

we went GUAR & didn't find out our room numbers until

we turned our luggage over to the bell boy men people

at the Galveston terminal.......(looks like a warehouse!).

They had the information there!

 

Our cabins were fine and were better (SAME cabin; a deck higher) than the ones we had this January......(didn't go GUAR then......had a group that wanted to stay close together).

Look on the back of your Sign and Sail card in your ticket packet. After your booking # is your cabin # (Most of the time they print it out instead of GTY)

Last month mine read GTY in the codes and it was not until we asked the porter at the dock what the number was so we could put it on our tags did we know.

My 4 inside GTY ended up being a Balcony.:)

We're going on the Fascination in October for my Birthday :) Would like to hear how your cruise went. We booked an 4A inside Guarantee and was given a room assignment at the time of booking, a 4c midship. What i do is login at carinval.com , go to my booking. Then open a second window and go to my e-mail and use the link to the book/modify. found link on cruise critic. This will show all information about your cruise, room number.....

We also did not find our cabin until we checked in!
