Cunard have spoilt my suprise

The same thing happened to me, my partner bought me a cruise as a present, all was well until Cunard sent me the reminder for final payment :eek: when they were contacted they apologised, but still after that I got e-mails and a further payment due reminder, even though the balance had been paid, more daily calls to Cunard resulted in the offer of an "upgrade" which turned out to be a worse room than the one we had booked, after that they considered the matter closed altogether a very poor customer relations experience, which has cast a shadow over what will be our second voyage on their latest Cunarder in a matter of weeks before the end of the year :(
