Greetings All,

 

We sail on the Oasis on 10/09/10. Can't wait, been planning for a year. How many formal nights are on the 7 day voyage? I heard there was a cupcake decorating lesson in the cupcake resturant. Is that so? Was it fun?

There are 2 formal nights. Sunday and Thursday. Thursday is lobster night. Not up on the cupcake classes.

I remember seeing the cupcake class in the Cruise Compass, but didn't do it. I think there was a small charge for it.

My kids did the cupcake class. They had fun. I believe it was around $19.00 for the adult class.

The class books up fast so you should book it when you get on the ship. Go to the Cupcake Cupboard on Promenade

Have a great time on the Oasis. We were on in early September and had a great time. We went to the cupcake store and booked our classes (for the 2 of us), but if enough people don't sign up, then the class isn't held. We had booked our class for the last sea day and it was canceled due to several people canceling at the last minute. Even though it fills up, there's a waitlist and based on our experience, you should reserve the first class..we could have done that, but figured we would go w/the last sea day. Make sure you take a walk thru central park at night, it's absolutely beautiful. Walk around the whole ship at night for that matter. Have a great time and do everything you possibly can!
