Ft.Lauderdale - Hilton Marina

Hi to all: has anyone stayed at the Hilton Ft. Lauderdale Marina on 17th St.? It looks nice and real close to pier. I understand that it will be more expensive, but was wondering if anyone has any info/amenities on this hotel?

There are numerous posts on here as well as tripadvisor. From what I read,make sure you get a tower room.

In my opinion the best amenity is it's location...right next to the Water Taxi stop.

I agree. Water Taxi is a real plus. Not only a tower room but ask for a view of Port Everglades! The view is great for viewing ships coming in and going. Balconies are great. A two block walk to Walgreens and maybe 3 to Bimini Boatyard restaurant in small shopping center. Quite a walk to other restaurants. Hotel has a lovely pool area and walk around the marina to see the yachts. A good choice. Taxi is about $12 from airport and $7.oo to port. We love it there.
