rothjer Posted September 30, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 30, 2010 Hi There I have a question in regards to pricing for an upcomming cruise. We booked post deposit period, meaning we paid in full, when booking the cruise, which was less than three months away when we booked. We booked on an eXciting deal promotion (buy one get one half off) in a C3 category cabin. I noticed today, that the price has gone down significantly on a C3. We want to see about upgrading to a C1 cabin, which would still be less than we we orginally paid for the cabin. We see that there are no C1's available (they are all GUAR). Would this be possible for us to do in light of X's new pricing policy. I kinda hope that we get the C1 GUAR and maybe get bumped !
Hypo Posted September 30, 2010 #2 Share Posted September 30, 2010 Call them. With their new screwy pricing policies, it is uncertain to any of us as to what Celebrity may, or may not, do.
rothjer Posted September 30, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted September 30, 2010 Thanks! I did call, they bumped me to a C1 for the same price, and could not offer me the difference in fares in a refund or OBC. They did put me in a GTY for C1, although the S2 category is also in GTY, so I guess its a big question mark until they assign me something ! - hoping for sooner rather than later ! Hypo Posted September 30, 2010 #4 Share Posted September 30, 2010 Maybe you will get a sky suite, but remember you will have extra gratuity for the butler. We love the Sky Suites and the butler service.
biker1972 Posted September 30, 2010 #5 Share Posted September 30, 2010 A guarantee C1 on the Summit is a great steal. Can't go wrong because you either get a hugh verana or a larger interior space with a butler. Hope for the butler and enjoy your honeymoon :D. Did you get the gty for both cruises?
