Drinks in MDR Question?

Besides bringing your own wine, if you bring sodas on board, are you allowed to bring them with you into the MDR? What about your own mixed drinks if you order through Bon Voyage? For example, I've seen a few posts about bringing an insulated mug to have your mixed drinks in while on board/on the lido deck,at the shows, etc. but are you allowed to bring it in the dinning room too?

We frequently enter the MDR with a beer. I don't really think they would question where your drink came from. Maybe get a couple DODs and put your soda or whatever in the empty cup to take in.:)

I've often carried drinks -- alcoholic and non-alcoholic--into the MDR and have never been stopped, questioned, or even a glance in my direction.
