I've done this cruise several times on the Fantasy when it was docked in NOLA. I always enjoyed the first 7 to 8 hours down the Mississippi. Usually there would be people along the banks of the river waving us on and once they were doing fireworks as we cruised by. Very cool to cruise until the highway ends then when it gets dark you can see all the navigation lights on the river. Coming back once a large number of porpoises followed us as we got to the mouth of the river. Enjoy!:)
