tsunami?

When your docked in a foreign country, are there warnings? does the

carribean have tsunami buoys? Hate to be caught off guard enjoying a

carribean beach with my wife and children when one of those bad boys

comes crashing through. I'll bet there are a whole lot of survivors that

don't take tsunami's lightly anymore. I would imagine that if there isn't

a warning system in place, there's plans for one, given the number of

tourists that visit carribean islands each year.

I read an article recently that said that in deep water, the terrible tsunami of a few months back was no more than a 3 foot swell, traveling at high speed. You would never even notice it. The trouble starts when it gets into shallow areas.
