If you have concerns with the security folk at embarkation or possibility of confiscation, simple solution is to take a copy of the Passage Contract and highlight para 2 of Sect 5 of same so it is visible and readable. There is no limitation in your passage contract as to the amount of wine or champagne you can bring onboard at embarkation or any other port of call for that matter.

 

I think it's good to point this out, so that the folks from princess

reading these boards know exactly what to change.

DH works sometimes on the docks for cruise ships, ALL ships scan ALL luggage. Don't even think of sneaking anything onboard. Many, many people have been caught trying to sneak many things, some illegal, onboard and have been escorted off.

 

I would think they'd have to, otherwise cruise lines would be a major conduit for illegal drugs.
