Batik's?

Cinder Again

I know people have said they did some shopping, but what kinds of things were for sale? Pareos, tablecloths, or something else? Were the prices competitive, or did you feel like you could get similar at a better price on another island?

We have been to Caribelle Batik studio twice. They have a demo of how they make the print on the fabric. They also have all sorts of items for sale: head-bands, shirts, coin purses, table items like placemats, etc. Very attractive. Just try to schedule an hour there--both times we went were 30 min. or less--and that wasn't nearly long enough to be able to browse. We bought a shirt for a friend--it wasn't the right size--and she returned it to them and they mailed her another one. The grounds are very pretty. Loved it!
