upgraded room & lost YTD...

I am under the impression that when you upgrade, they do not rebook you. Sounds like someone did not know what they are doing, and the result is that you lost out on something you were happy with. I'd call Carnival and find out what went wrong - and if the person you get on the phone can't help you, call back and keep on going up the food chain until you get someone who can get YTD back for you.

 

If all else fails, head to the MDR during embarkation, and talk to the Maitre D'. Perhaps he can help you out.

I was originally set for late dining and about 10 days ago was able to change to YTD on the Carnival site. Strangely enough, I just checked my booking and I'm back on late dining. Not good. :mad:

 

I'm going solo on this one and was really looking forward to trying YTD... oh well. Guess I'll try once aboard.
