Late Arrival

We are stopping at St. Thomas Thanksgiving week on the NCL Sun and the itinerary has us arriving at 12 and staying until 8pm. We will have our 2 daughters (6 and 3) with us and are trying to figure out what to do for our time. I am concerned about everything closing around 5pm and us not having a full day as we would have with other stops. We are taking suggestions. One thought was just to taxi to a beach (not decided but leaning towards Magens Bay) and then taxi back and do some shopping around the port. Another concern is that we haven't figured out where we are docking. The first cruise in October has them arriving at Crown Bay. We have gone in on 2 previous trips to Havensight and know are way around there but no nothing of Crown Bay. I have heard that they are building a shopping area but it isn't open yet and probably won't be when we are there. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Mike
