Having problem with Italian Services

Used these people some years ago and it was fine,however recently having booked and later cancelled they have not credited my credit card,although they were prompt to charge another service later,the original excuse was the banks are slow (dont believe) but since then they will not reply,It is some months and we are talkong approx$1000 ,I have a suspicion they are a USA company masquerading as an italian company.Does anyone else have any similar experience?

Have you contacted your credit card company to inquire about a refund based on services not rendered?

yes but unfortunately the claim has to be in within 3 months and because of the delaying tactics time has expired.
