deborah grimes Posted October 10, 2010 #1 Share Posted October 10, 2010 Has anyone been able to book any tours this week since the storm flooded St Kitts? Just wondered when they may be up and running again? I do feel sorry for all the flooded Islands and they do need us to help keep them going. Cool Breeze Cruiser Posted October 11, 2010 #2 Share Posted October 11, 2010 We were there October 8th & had planned on doing the all day sail & snorkel from the tour store but it was cancelled due to the storms. An ATV tour we checked on was also cancelled. We ended up getting a cab & going to Cockleshell Beach. It was really washed out due to the flooding & the water was so stirred up it was almost black but we had a great time. They were working quickly to get everything cleaned up again. A large boat had washed ashore & almost landed in the Reggae Beach Bar so they were closed. We got 2 chairs & an umbrella at the Spice Mill for $20 because the umbrellas at Lions were torn up in the storm (they were working on them) but we hung out at Lion's. A bottle of beer was $2 there verses $3 at the Spice Mill & the lunch at Lion's was one of the best meals we had all week! We would love to go back to St. Kitts!
