which has links to other posts. But remember than for some folks "authentic" Mexican is based on dishes they are served in Am-Mex or Tex-Mex places back home and you can get that in Cozumel too.

Casa Denis is the oldest restaurant on Cozumel and has great food. It's just off the main square.

Another good place - Las Palmeras - across from ferry dock....coconut ice cream to die for!!!
