Atlantis water park - worth it if only in port 7 a.m.-2 p.m.?

I love water parks and would be interested in possibly going over to Atlantis, but we're only going to be in Nassau for such a short time (and on a Sunday too, which appears to eliminate the Blue Lagoon option). I wonder if it is worth it? For anyone who has been there, how good is the water park? Would you say it's on par with say, Wet n Wild or the Disney water parks?

The water park doesn't open until 10am.. and you'd have to leave by 1:15.. certainly not getting your money's worth.

The waterpark is fun... and sprawled out.. but it's not like US parks, especially for the price.

Blue lagoon is open some sundays.. check with them for your date.

Are the pools open any earlier than 10? I am considering the aquaventure just to access the children's pools with my 17 month old. Is there another option for us if we only want to go to the beach and pools and have some walking around space (no waterslides)? We are also only in port 7-2. Thanks.

Pools open at 9am. (towel hut opens at 9am to get your wristbands, so it takes a few minutes to do that.. there's a few minutes wait sometimes because of the crowds..)

Why not consider the sheraton at Cable Beach .. it's $25pp. (babies are free) and there are 3 pools, a beautiful beach, lots of space, cafe, grill, restrooms, lifeguards, free water toys, free snorkeling and use of the wyndham property next door. There's also a casino. Buy your pass at the front desk.

THere's no need to buy expensive Atlantis passes unless you need to check out the waterpark.

You can take a cab ($5pp) or a the #10 jitney ($1.25pp) Cable Beach is about 12-15 minutes from the dock.

Hi, I will be in the Nassau area on a Tuesday between 8 & 5.

Although the entire Atlantis Resort looks amazing - I really don't want to pay $200+ per person to do everything (swim with dolphins/waterpark... I mean I would love to, but it is quite expensive)

So I really just want to do the tube ride that floats through the shark tanks... anyone know what this part is called (is this the aquaventure) and approx cost for just this part?

Thanks :)

That's part of the waterpark. The entry fee is $110 pp.

Park opens at 10am.
