Royal Snorkel Excursion

Anyone know what beach the Barrier Reef Snorkel and Beach Break excursion takes you to?

 

We are a party of 5... only 4 in the the party want to snorkel, so we were wondering if we could book 1 person on the beach break and the other 4 on the snorkel excursion and meet up later at the beach.

 

Anyone ever done that?

If anyone has any recent information on snorkelling/beach break excursions with Royal I would love to hear your thoughts......
