Is it safe to ride Jitney #10 without getting off from it?

My plan is to ride #10 to experience the local culture. I don't plan to get off it. Is it safe to do so?

 

And is #10 a loop back to the pier? Or you have to buy two tickets, one is to leave from pier, and the other is to get back?

It's doable and safe, but first ask the driver if he is returning to town on this trip. Since they are independent, they sometimes go home for lunch, pick up kids at school, or deliver the wife to work during the day.. No telling if you're driver will make the return trip at that time.

 

Be sure to pay him $2.50 pp for the trip.

Hey Scuba...do you know *approximately* how long a round trip takes?

 

Also, can (should?) one get on at, say, the sheraton (after spending the day there) and take the "long way" back to the port, just to catch a bit more of Nassau (and is it worth it?)
