Belize tenders

Hello all,

We are cruising in June to Belize on Carnival Elation and have a question. If you do not book a excursion through Carnival how hard is it to get an early tender. We have heard that Carnival only lets the people who have booked through them get off early. Is that true? How long might the wait be if we do not book through Carnival. Any ideas about getting off quicker? :confused:

Hi, We went to Belize last week and yes, they do let the people who have shore excurisons off first. We met in the theatre and they handed out colored stickers based on your tours. Everyone else got off about an hour later. I will tell you though that they did not check tour tickets

When you say they did not check your tickets, do you think you could have got on an earlier tender if you just walked up and stood in line with every one else? We are planning on doing an excursion, not through Carnival, and just want to get off asap so we know we have plenty of time and don't miss the boat.:(
