what are the perks of booking on board for a future cruise

 

do you get an upgrade in cabin?

 

do you have to pay more than the $200 deposit while on the last cruise

 

i believe you get onboard credit

 

any help would be appreciated

The only beenfit, besides the OBC, we received last year was a reduced deposit. However because were were in a group booking they had to charge the rest when we returned home.

We were on Solstice and got a 2 cabin upgrade, a small OBC and reduced deposit on our next cruise on Eclipse. It was worth it for us!

Ditto for the above. I just booked a B2B for next year while I was on the Solstice last week. I paid for a C3 and got a C1. Deposit of only $100pp/each leg of cruise, and a very nice OBC for each leg. Everything is refundable before final payment so I can't see any major problem. Probably is one but I haven't figured it out yet. The Future Cruise gal was great, providing me w/ a TA transfer form for me to fax to my TA. I didn't have to ask. Down side: I can't use an stockholders credit w/ the Celeb OBC but that's OK because what they gave me is more than the stockholders bene.
