What beach is Royal using for their Atlantis Beach Day excursion....the pictures and video they use advertising this excursion shows Cove Beach....is that the beach they are using? This is the excursion that Royal is selling for $72/adult and also includes the dig.

Cruise ship passes allow use of the main beach. THere's a roped off area for day cruisers.

Some days security is lax and they let you wander. But I wouldn't count on it.

THe main Beach is the same beach as the FREE beach.. 100 yards to the east.

HHHmmmm....that's odd because the pix and video both specifically show Cove Beach...they don't even show the side of the resort by the public beach.

BTW...here is the description because from some of the beach passes I have been seeing posts that you couldn't even use the lagoon....and acording to the description you can but optional water toys will cost extra of course.....so that is why I posted my question....was wondering if this is something thats a bit different that Royal is selling:confused:

My understanding was that if you rent a water toy, you can use it in the lagoon. But I never understood if they ask you to leave after you are finished. ???

It is clearly indicated that there is a roped off area on the main beach.

Last season when the beach washed away, Cove beach was opened to the public, but this season that's no longer the case.

Once again, Atlantis gives mixes signals, and noone really has the answers.. not even when you get there.

I would expect to use the main beach.. and be happy to use the Cove if it's available. Honestly..(and you know me). I wouldn't pay a dime to use the same beach that is free 100 yards up the way.
