Hello. I was wondering if anyone can tell me the better snorkel tours in St Thomas. We are on the 3/5/05 voyager of the seas trip & we are tryign to plan our days a bit. We are trying to decide between Buck Island sailing & snorkel trip, Cas Cay eco-tour & snorkel, Seablaster Snorkel or the Turtle Cove excursion! Any insights? We never snorkeled before & would love a great "first time". Our ports are st thomas, naussau, labadee & San Juan. I hear alot of praise on the Godfrey tour? Does anyone thing we should wait & go on another snorkel tour in another port & do his tour? Thanks for your time! :) Jill

Mugsy,

We just got back last night from the same itinerary on the Voyager. On St. Thomas, we did the Buck Island Sail and Snorkel. We had the good fortune of being assigned to the "Jolly Mon", and we had a group of six ( only 6 per boat).

Our hosts, Gary and Gail made the trip memorable, as their local knowledge and snorkling expertise made this a great trip. If you decide to do this tour, be sure to ask the tour operator at the pier if you can be assigned to the Jolly Mon.
