YvonneE Posted February 20, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2005 A friend who's traveling same time as I is traveling to celebrate her 40th birthday, although here birthday will be a few months after the cruise. Are there any special things I can order/ request for her? Thanks Yvonne
Jane Pond Posted February 20, 2005 #2 Share Posted February 20, 2005 In the travel documents booklet there are lists of things that can be ordered and delivered to your friends suite. However, my thought would be to tuck in some tiny remembrances. Or how about a gift certificate to the Spa for a day of pampering. Or having her formal picture taken and giving it to her as a gift in a special frame (also easy to pack). Turnng a 'front number' birthday is a big thing. juliecat Posted February 20, 2005 #3 Share Posted February 20, 2005 Make sure she marks on the passenger info sheet that she'll be celebrating a birthday onboard. She'll get a card from the Captain and a birthday cake with singing waiters at dinner. A little cheesy, but a lot of fun! (I spent my 35th birthday onboard). Cheers! YvonneE Posted February 21, 2005 Author #4 Share Posted February 21, 2005 While her birthday comes after the trip - maybe they will celebrate it ahead of time with the birthday card... Thanks for the tips!! YvonneE:)
