JBINTOR Posted October 28, 2010 #1 Share Posted October 28, 2010 We've booked the Hampton Inn & Suites in Isla Verde the night before our Jan 14 sail on the Millenium. We're looking for a good local restaurant for dinner on the 13th and breakfast on the 14th. Any comments are welcomed! Thanks.

There is a Thread already in Caribbean Forum: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1297961 I kinda summarized all the recommendations and asked for more - you can check it there.:)
We're The Groupnors Posted October 28, 2010 #3 Share Posted October 28, 2010 The Old Harbour Brewery is great for awesome steaks and fab microbrew. http://oldharborbrewery.com/
kilili Posted October 28, 2010 #4 Share Posted October 28, 2010 In isla verde the only one I have tried and know its good is Ajili Mojili. I also posted this on the other thread: I second the idea of breakfast at "La Bombonera". Not sure what day of the week you are going, but if on a weekday or Saturday, you can walk from your hotel. (You could also walk on Sunday but early in the morning the city might be a bit deserted). For dinner close to the pier I have had excellent food at "El Toro Salado", next to starbucks, very close to Plaza Colón. If you are interested in authentic Puerto Rican cuisine or experience, then I would recommend "Raices", which is also very close to the pier. "Dragonfly", and "Aguaviva" get very good reviews and are a bit pricier, and offer "fusion" cuisine. Very close to Dragonfly and Aguaviva there is an italian restaurant that is very good, but I can't remember the name. Enjoy!
