How much do the prescription masks cost? How do you know what prescription you need?

I bet you would find the masks to be cheaper than the excursion. DH got a prescription mask. He was really surprised how well he could see. Contact your doctor who did your last exam for your prescription you need. They should give it to you.

Well I contacted Princess, and the company that does their Reef & Wreck Snorkeling tour does not have optical masks available.....soooooo......

 

I went to the website for Eden Rock Dive Center and got their email address.....sent them an email asking if the rent optical masks......well, they got back to me right away and they do for $10 for the day.....I'll just write down our prescriptions and take that with us......

 

We tender at 7 AM, they open at 8 AM and our excursion is at 9 AM, so that should work great......

 

Does anyone know exactly which way we would go off the pier to get to Eden Rock Dive Center? I think it's really close and it's a blue 2 story building?

When we cruised with Princess, Eden Rock was a right turn outside the dock area. Keep the water to you right. It was between a 5 and 10 minute walk (closer to 5). :) Have a great trip.

+1 for purchasing prescription mask. My DW has horrible eye sight. When we were dating, I bought her a mask with prescription that she has been using for the past 8 years. She enjoyed snorkeling before, now she loves it and its a must do activity on vacations.
