Undocking Disney Dream

Hello,

for 3 hours was the undocking of the Disney Dream by the Meyer Werft in Papenburg. A very nice vessel, a beautiful firework an a nice evening. With a delay from 30 minutes startet the undocking.

She's beautiful. I can't wait to see her underway.

That first photo is stunning. It's poster material. It also shows you that the hull isn't painted black but midnight blue, the same as the Magic and Wonder.

The pictures taken yesterday show that virtually overnight they added the large white electronics mast ahead of the forward funnel, and the funnel itself has sprouted the black pipes extending upward from the top. Neither of these features were visible during the float out.

 

It also appears that the engines were running; you can see some llight smoke coming from the aft funnel.

Here's a report from Maritime Matters about the floating he took a lot of photos of the preview center showing interior details. He wasn't allowed to take photos aboard of the unfinished ship.
