World cruisersin U.S.: apply for visas now

The India consulate web site for Houston, as well as the visa service we will be using, have informed me that lengthy delays are occurring to obtain India visas. I just sent our applications for India, China, Brazil and Vietnam to the service and they inform me that to get these back in 2 months (end of December) should not be a problem, but would have to pay expedited rates to get by December 1.

So it's not too early to apply for these if you are in the U.S.
