Third & fourth beds in cabin on Nieuw Amsterdam

Hi,

 

We have an OV cabin which we love the location. Now a gty balcony is the same price. My question is, are the bunks beds in balcony cabins in the wall or do they pull down from the ceiling. If the are in the wall, do the stick out much when closed. There is only my husband and my self in the cabin and don't want to have to deal with beds that stick out.

When closed they protrude from the ceiling just a few inches.

We had a quad balcony on the Zuiderdam. The 3rd bed was a pull out couch for one. The other bed pulled down from the ceiling above the main bed. It was very close to the ceiling when closed. I believe the NA would be the same.
