BeccaBecca1713 Posted November 4, 2010 #2 Share Posted November 4, 2010 It's usually a cheaper rate when sailing date gets close. But the reason it's cheap is 'cause it's usually a GTY (in other words, you don't find out til you get on the ship what your room assignment will be). VegGirl Posted November 4, 2010 #5 Share Posted November 4, 2010 So it could be an inside room???? We booked this for a cruise in December. We did a balcony guarantee, which means we won't get any room less than a balcony, and there's a chance you could get something higher than that. I've been checking the Carnival website everyday, and our room was assigned today (27 days til the cruise). We've got a balcony on the Lido deck. samsmaisy08 Posted November 5, 2010 #6 Share Posted November 5, 2010 :)We booked a "pack and go" in early October for late November....doesn't really matter where we have a cabin, but is there a way to find out ahead of time. Our TA said we'd have to wait til be boarded.
