Anyone take Santo Domingo Tour....please help!

Anyone back from the Miracle Southern Carib La Romana port. We are interested in possibly taking the tour offered by Carnival into Santo Domingo and would love to hear feedback. We can't decide whether to do the longer tour (7.5 hours) vs shorter (5.5). Anyone who has gone on either.....we would LOVE to hear what you have to say...is the only difference the buffet lunch, or do you see more on the longer tour? Any info would be very much appreciated.
