new cruisers

i am taking my family on the norweigan jewel for christmas and was wondering if anyone had any MUST do's or dont's that would help me out also my son is turning 18 during the cruise any ideas?

Congratulations! The Jewel was my first cruise and she and her staff are wonderful. I would do some NCL excursions since it is your first cruise. Ask your son what he would like to do. Let him look at what they offer. You will make a memory with him that will last a lifetime.

Mine and DH's first cruise was in 2007 on the Jewel. This was for our 25 anniversary. We went to Cagney's and mentioned it was an anniversary and they gave us a small cake.

 

Our second trip on the Jewel, this past Jan/Feb, we had the pleasure of Meeting John O'Hara.
