I booked a week on the Dream for February 2011 about 3 weeks ago. I selected an Aft Balcony on the “Upper” deck. Today I saw that there was an option to get a balcony room on the Spa deck (12000 series rooms) for $60 less than the aft balcony and it includes access to the Cloud 9 Spa for the week, which is about a $200 - $300 option. Called Carnival and had them switch my room and they reduced my balance due by $60.00 (I have not paid for the full cruise or else it would a have been OBC). Pays to keep a close eye on the rates as they change and not wait for them to call you.

I am booked in a spa balcony room for the 01/22 sailing and all the prices keep dropping except for the sailing that I am on. Congrats on catching the upgrade. I was booked in an 8D and upgraded myself (gift to me-from me ) I paid what I beleived to be a fair price and picked where I wanted to be. I can always hope for a price drop though!!!
