Connie - Upgrade at port recently?

I am booked on the Connie next month and am happy with my room, but I am curious if anyone can give me their experiences with upgrading at the port. It looks like their are at least 100 or more empty cabins based on my searches of available rooms, so having availability should not be a problem. How much have people paid to upgrade in the past? Original and upgraded categories would be helpful as well. Any advice on the best way to go about asking for an upgrade(of course I am expecting to pay for it) would be appreciated.

The upgrades, if any are available, can be handled by the pier coordinator or guest relations. It really doesn't matter what others have done, because the prices are not standard. It depends on the cruise and what's available. Every one is different.
