New Orleans Hotel with Shuttle to Port or From Airport

Cruising out of New Orleans on Sunday, 17 April. Looking for hotel for the night of the 16th. We've never been to NO before, so would prefer to stay downtown. Can anyone recommend a hotel which has a shuttle to the port, or a shuttle from the airport? I've surfed this board, but can't find any definite recommendations. Tnx!

Holiday Inn Superdome we got for $99 and it includes a shuttle to the port. There are laws where the shuttle cannot pick you up right from the port, but the driver will give you his card and come get you afterwards (for a tip) if you want to walk back out to the main street.

 

The shuttle will also leave on the hour and drop you wherever you want to go in the French Qtr, which I used, and then walked home. Like the cafe for coffee which is way on the water, forget the name, but its about the farthest from the hotel, then you can wind your way home unless you want to call for a pick up.
