pgphoto Posted November 10, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 10, 2010 What are the Sail Away Parties? i.e., Pirates "Punch" Sail Away Party, Margarita Sail Away Party
K2DangerGirl Posted November 10, 2010 #2 Share Posted November 10, 2010 A party, at the time of sail away. Usually on the outside decks (as weather permits) like the Lido Deck aft by the Sea View Pool or the Panorama Deck. The Pirates Punch and Margarita probably refer to drink specials that the deck stewards will be carrying around. Sometimes they have a special glass, or special pricing but they aren't complimentary. That's exactly what I wanted to know! :-) What I was really wondering was if there were drink specials or special pricing, like you said. Thanks! Krazy Kruizers Posted November 10, 2010 #4 Share Posted November 10, 2010 At the sail-away parties -- usually on embarkation day and maybe a couple of ports -- the special drinks that you can buy are Mojitos -- sold in special glasses -- costs more that way. You can buy any drink that you want to if you don;t want a Mojito.
unfdoug Posted November 11, 2010 #5 Share Posted November 11, 2010 On the topic of drinks. Be sure to check at all the bars and lounges. A lot of them had 2-4-1 on the Eurodam between like 6-7 pm.

On another note...I was checking out DBA's blog and noticed quite a few references to you :-) I was trying to check out, i.e., some of your Eurodam pics DBA referenced. I don't use twitter, so I was confused about how to see them. Also thought I saw that you might have some Eurodam footage on youtube? Thanks! ansjefitnes Posted November 11, 2010 #8 Share Posted November 11, 2010 Or a very good time to some who have dinner at 8. On my last cruise on the Westerdam happy hour was from 4-5 so we never went, much to early to start drinking for us:rolleyes:
