murphyis1 Posted November 12, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 12, 2010 Are there lounge chairs on these larger balconies, or just the standard upright chairs? If no lounge chairs, are they available if requested? Thanks for your help!
Hank1468 Posted November 12, 2010 #2 Share Posted November 12, 2010 Yes, Caribe Deck balconies will have four chairs, 2 of which are loungers; as well as a small table. Same goes for Mini-suites

Yes, not loungers that you can lay down on, such as the ones on the lido decks. They are more like reclining chairs.

Pam in CA Posted November 12, 2010 #7 Share Posted November 12, 2010 Yes, Caribe Deck balconies will have four chairs, 2 of which are loungers; as well as a small table. Same goes for Mini-suitesThey are NOT loungers but are high-back, adjustable, half-loungers. The full loungers don't fit unless most of the other furniture is removed; and, if you request one, your steward is not supposed to get you one as those on the Lido deck are not fire-retardant. Everything on your balcony should be at least fire-resistant. Your steward could get into trouble if he/she gets you one. Some will, but they are taking a big chance. dtagirl Posted November 13, 2010 #10 Share Posted November 13, 2010 To be a full lounger, I think you need to be able to put your feet up and these chairs are not loungers! I pull one of the chairs over to act as a footrest!

murphyis1 Posted November 13, 2010 Author #12 Share Posted November 13, 2010 Thanks for all the replies, especially to Pam for the pics. It really is true, a picture is worth a thousand words. I'll be perfectly content using the small chair as a footrest.
