Need transportation recommendation from Miami to Port Canaveral

Our flight will go into Miami, so we need affordable ideas/advice for the three hour drive to Port Canaveral for the Carnival Dream which is our ship's port (limo, bus, shuttle, what options are available?).

your best bet is to rent a car and drive it . . . at Canaveral your drop offs are Hertz, Budget, AVIS, Thrify, Dollar or Enterprise.

You are WAY outside of shuttle/taxi range. I suppose you could hire a car (limo) but I think every penny you thought you saved by flying to Miami will be used up by that one . . . and then some
