Less than a week....

Hello all -

We are leaving on the Oasis in less than a week - and I just need a few more questions answered about St. Marteen....

We dock around 7 am.....however, there is no way we are getting up that early :)

1. What time do MOST stores open on Front Street ?

2. We will take the water taxi to Front Street for fun :) ..... wander around Front Street for just a bit. We have decided to forgo the "top end" Jewelry shopping..... for now......if anything catches my eye .... then we will see..... We want to go to Belgian Chocolates..... and any other MUST GO TO stores..... suggestions would be wonderful.

3. We are going to grab a TAXI to Maho to arrive at Maho around 11:30 am/12:00 pm . How long does it take to get to Maho from Front Street ? Where do the taxi's hang out on Front Street? Should we arrange to have the taxi pick us up from Maho later that day.

4. We are going to hang out at Maho for a few hours having some drinks.... relaxing...... Leave around 2:30 pm ....... Boat leaves at 5 pm.

Any suggestions / tips would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks,

Eva

Front Street stores will be opening between 9 and 10.

The Belgian Chocolate Box is on Old Street.

You might consider the Delft Porcelin shop

Midday, a taxi should get you to Maho in about 30 minutes. They will be available in Front of the Courthouse. If you know when you want to return, making arrangements is a good idea.

Leaving by 2:30 would be an excellent idea.

Consider Guy's Driftwood Boat Bar as well as Sunset.

Looks like you're probably sailing on the 20th, so probably heading to the departure port on the 19th, which is probably tomorrow?

And you never came back to check for responses to your questions?
