chaloop Posted November 15, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 15, 2010 Which Carnival ships have the best set up for kids pools where the adults can also hang out and watch? With the exception of the Dream.
MamaParrotHead Posted November 15, 2010 #2 Share Posted November 15, 2010 I've only been on Destiny class and Conquest class ships, but on all of those ships all the pools are laid out exactly the same. And all of those the aft pools are adults only. And on both ships, the mid-ship pools/main pools, the seating is stadium style. So, depending on how old your kids are and how well they swim, I'd say it's a safe bet that it won't be a problem to find a seat where you can supervise them adequately. I'd get there early though, the chairhogs can be a pain.
nybumpkin Posted November 16, 2010 #3 Share Posted November 16, 2010 I'm not sure if your kids are old enough for the slide, but if they are and you are on a Conquest or Destiny-class ship I would try to be near the forward pool since the slide ends right next to it. When we were on Conquest in February we spent much of a port day on board and that's where we stayed. The kids loved going down the slide, taking a turn in the hot tub, then hopping in the pool for a while. And I liked sitting back in a deck chair with a book, a gin and tonic, and a plate from the buffet. I echo MamaParrotHead, though - you will need to get there early on a sea day to be close to the pool.
