Bobby Dee Posted November 16, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 16, 2010 Simple question. Has anyone been on Equinox recently and do they stock Splenda (the yellow packets) or do I need to bring my own?
Xport Posted November 16, 2010 #2 Share Posted November 16, 2010 Splenda is one of several brands of artificial sweetner that are offered aboard Celebrity ships...
Bobby Dee Posted November 16, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted November 16, 2010 Splenda is one of several brands of artificial sweetner that are offered aboard Celebrity ships... Thank you. My wife was very happy to hear that. This is the problem when I spend so much time on these boards. She knows I'm on the website and so this is the kind of questions that she wants me to ask. Seriously, thank you.
Lsimon Posted November 16, 2010 #4 Share Posted November 16, 2010 They've always had Splenda on board both in the Caribbean and Europe cruises. Also had Sweet & Low as well.
d4m Posted November 16, 2010 #5 Share Posted November 16, 2010 Am glad to see this answered. Only use Splenda and had it on my packing list
YOW Posted November 17, 2010 #6 Share Posted November 17, 2010 No more Splenda until mid-January; it's presently stuck at the docks in San Diego. No, wait, that's Splendor, my bad... you're in good shape with the sweetener. ;)
marraclc Posted November 17, 2010 #7 Share Posted November 17, 2010 Thanks for the info. I won't need to pack it for our Feb. Equinox cruise.
alto Posted November 17, 2010 #8 Share Posted November 17, 2010 Splenda is available on RCL, but not the splenda brand, just look for the sweetner with the yellow label, if you want to double check bring a splenda and compare contents.

Bobby Dee Posted November 17, 2010 Author #10 Share Posted November 17, 2010 The Equinox had Splenda on board as of this past Monday when we got off. Thanks for the confirmation. And good luck to Duke this season. We are UCF fans so we don't play each other, until hopefully the end.;)
klitz Posted August 23, 2012 #11 Share Posted August 23, 2012 My most recent cruise was on the Caribbean Princess. They had lots of sweetener in yellow:), blue;), and pink:o packets; someone actually posted a pic of them on the CC board to answer "Oh, yes; they have Splenda". But I looked carefully at the fine print on each packet, IT WAS ALL ASPARTAME (Equal), not sucralose (Splenda). The FDA does not allow that misleading packaging in the 50 states because of safety reasons, but it can be packaged that way in Puerto Rico. I just called Celebrity and they said they do have Splenda on the Equinox. I will confirm this next month.
teajak Posted August 23, 2012 #12 Share Posted August 23, 2012 They do have it but they only put a few packets on the tables and sometimes in the DR you must ask for it.It is yellow packets not the Splenda brand.
