Christmas Day on board Ventura

Hi all

 

So - spending Chrismas and New Year cruising 28 days in total - first time away from family at this time of year.

 

What happens on board Christmas Day (at sea) - anything extra special?:p

Actually, Christmas as we in the UK know it, will be toned down or cancelled so as not to offend those not of the 'Christmas Faith' :mad::mad: PC and all that.

I'm sure something would be arranged, can't have Christmas without someone in a Santa suit and a decent Christmas dinner!

Hi we have been on cruises before on CXhristmas day and it is normally very, very good

So what actually happens? Is it any different from other days at sea? Is there a special Xmas Lunch and dinner? Thank goodness no leftovers this year!

Should I take a few little gifts for waiters and cabin steward?
