Carnival Weddings at Port of Call vs Home Port

Hello Everyone,

 

I am recently engaged and we are definitely going to have a Carnival Cruise Wedding in 2012, just waiting for all the itinerarys to come out for 2012. I have read a lot of reviews and it seems like most people get married at the ships home port, but we want to do it onboard during the cruise. Has anyone done that?? Any tips or thoughts as which is better.

I dont think we will have any non sailing guests as our families are all from NY and if their going to fly down to FL they might as well cruise :D

if you really want to be married "at sea" you'll have to go through princess. you can do a shipboard wedding at a port of call with any of the cruiselines though, they'll just bring a local minister on board, i think.
