Early Disembarking

We are booked on a Baltic cruise and are scheduled to return to port in Copenhagen at 8AM. There is only one return home flight on that day scheduled for 12:25PM. RCCL says return home flights have to be after 1PM so now we are stuck spending money on a hotel in a very expensive city. We had planned to spend 2 days pre cruise seeing the sights in Copenhagen and now looks like we will have to split our time and that means more taxi/rail fares. Has anyone else had that problem with RCCL? We thought they could give us early disembarkation but our TA was adivised no!

I am not sure why you feel this is a "problem with RCCL." The time it takes for local authorities to clear the ship, to get off the ship, travel to the airport, check in at the airport, and pass through airport security makes it risky to book such an early flight. RCI discourages people from booking flights before 1pm because there is a realistic chance of missing your flight - even if you are in the first group to debark the ship. If there are no flights after 1pm, it is prudent to stay an extra day in Copenhagen and budget accordingly.
