Taxis at terminal in Roatan

We would like to get a taxi for the day to do "our own thing" at this port. Are they readily available at the terminal?, and how much should we expect to pay for 4 people?

From what others have recommended, we have booked Victor Bodden http://www.boddentours.com for our April cruise. You have a driver and cab for the day. Cost for 4 people is $25/pp.

i don't know about now, but last december 4 of us caught a cab at the terminal and it was <$10 RT to a beach where we snorkeled for several hours. the driver dropped us off and picked us up. there will be lots of cabs at the terminal....

 

my DD was in charge of finding a taxi....i think we were almost out of the pier area. the driver was very nice, and returned at the agreed on time !! the cost was for all of us not per person.

 

i can not remember the beach but it was more than 15 min away....

Victor Bodden Tour was amazing. We had Tex as driver and "did our own thing" with him driving and guiding us. Very much recommend doing it this way.
