Mariner E1 hump

We've stayed in many E1 humps on the Voyager class ships. The balcony is NOT bigger. What we love about these cabins is the convenience. It is so easy to get anywhere on the ship from these. The size of the cabin is not too bad. I highly recommend them. The D1's will have just a little bit more room.

We just returned from the FOS and had an E-2 at the aft end of the hump. The balcony was a decent size (bigger than Carnivals). It was the width of the room, about 9' and at least 7' deep. There were two strap chairs and a small table with room for another chair if needed. The cabin it self had large size loveseat rather than a sofa but plenty big enough for two people to sit. That's the only part of the room that was smaller. In between the curtains and the sliding door was an extra 2-3' space making the room as long as the D's. It was fine with all the storage space we needed. Will book this again, especially at this location.

We love the hump balcony cabins and find that sometimes the E1's are a much better deal with very little difference except they may be on a lower floor. I say go with the best price and save your money for the rest of the cruise.
