travlingrlclt Posted December 7, 2010 #1 Share Posted December 7, 2010 We are doing the Dream Jan 30th. It's just my 4 year old and myself. Are there tables for 2 or will we be sat w/ a large group?
PopFla Posted December 7, 2010 #2 Share Posted December 7, 2010 Nobody (except DCL) knows yet what the seating arrangements will be on the new ship, so it would be difficult to say with any degree of certainty. It certainly can't hurt to call DCL and request a table for two, but whether they can accomodate your request will depend on the table arrangements and how heavily the ship is booked. Chances are excellent your cruise - - just the second 'public' cruise for the new ship - - will be sold out, so you may have to share a table with others. jelbnl Posted December 7, 2010 #3 Share Posted December 7, 2010 As stated by the PP nobody knows what the dining arrangements will be on the Dream. That being said, there are NO tables for 2 on the current ships in the main dining rooms. If you have late dining you have more of a chance getting your request granted, as it's not as crowded as main dining. You'd be seated alone at a table for 4. DCL tries hard to match it's guests together for dining, so if you get seated with someone else you'll most likely be compatible.
BoardwalkBabe Posted December 7, 2010 #4 Share Posted December 7, 2010 We've had tables for two on Princess and RCI but never on Disney. It would be nice if the new ships had this option.
