I'm just curious what transport options are available from the Georgetown Cruise Port to Seven-Mile Beach and Stingray City. Specifically travel times, costs, and frequency.

 

We have our own snorkeling equipment, so we don't necessarily need a tour.

Lots of tour ops and private charters to either Sting Ray City site. There are many listed on this board and an internet search for "Sting Ray City tours" will provide additional information.

 

Some of the more popular tours ops are: Captain Marvin's, Dexter's Fantasea Tours, Moby Dick's, Red Sail, Soto's Cruises, Nativeway, Captain Ebanks Watersports, etc...

If snorkeling is your priority I would just walk to Eden Rock ( 5 min ) or Sunset House ( 20 min ). We like Sunset House better because it is less crowded, great food, drink and friendly staff.:)

Both of those sound good. I checked -- it sounds like Sunset House is a hotel / resort. What's the policy on day users? Pay for a beach chair, just buy a meal, pay and entry fee etc.?

Just buy something to eat or drink, nice and relaxing facility. Easy 20 min. walk, turn right as you get off the tender or hail a cab.

While you can snorkel at Eden Rock, Sunset House, Divers Down or a few other sites on your own you cannot go to Stingray City on your own. It is several miles offshore.
