When does casino open on Carnival Triumph from New Orleans?

Can anyone tell me when Carnival Triumph opens after sailing(New Orleans)? Is it after it enters open water (8 hours after sail away) or sooner?

According to another poster on the Carnival board (maybe on the CCL website forums), the casino opens within an hour of sail away. I thought it would be once they got to open waters also, but I guess since there are river gambling cruises the ship casino can open also.

Just off the Triumph today. Casino opened within the hour after sailing.
